About Me

Deepthi Udupa is an upcoming artist. Geometrical abstraction is her style and chess is her theme. Her love for geometric shapes, the repetitive patterns of the chess board can be seen in most of her works. She finds it very fascinating that there is a resemblance between game of Chess and complexities of life and she occasionally tries to depict these facets in her works. She loves to play and experiment with colors, textures and different mediums.

Her opinion is that even though it is important to know the artist's story and artist perspective about her/his  artwork, it is equally important for a viewer to find their own story and their truth in a painting. She is also a print maker. Deepthi Udupa is basically from Karnataka who is now a current resident of Singapore.
